Cambridge Morris Men on the streets to celebrate 100th anniversary
The Cambridge Morris Men are celebrating their 100th anniversary this Saturday (27 April) by dancing at various spots in Cambridge city centre from 10.30am, ending with a show on Parker’s Piece at 4.30pm.
The Cambridge Morris Men (CMM) were founded in 1924 and are one of the oldest revival sides in the country.
In the early days, they toured the Cotswold villages and noted down many dances which would have otherwise been lost.
